The power head is a device used to process the metal aperture, which has the advantages of high precision, stable performance and good rigidity. In recent years, with the continuous development of the industry, power heads are widely used in various industries. As we all know, the power head is different from daily necessities, and the price is relatively high. So, how should we extend the service life of the power head to create greater value for us?

1. Precautions before use to extend the service life of the power head

(1) The power head needs to be run-in at the beginning of use. It is best to have no load for one hour, and the no-load speed is 70% of the maximum speed.

(2) The coolant must be filtered before it can be put into use. Unfiltered coolant may cause damage to parts. For example, the internal parts and oil seals of the power tool holder cannot be used due to excessive wear, which affects production efficiency. Don't forget to turn on the coolant before use. This is also to reduce the wear of oil seals and parts, so special attention should be paid.

(3) The second is the problem of the tool holder. When working, it must rotate within the limited speed, and no overspeed is allowed. At the same time, the water pressure is also limited, and the limit cannot be exceeded to avoid accidents.

(4) Check the standby status of each component before use, such as whether the water spray is blocked, the water supply should not be overheated, etc. When closing the external water outlet, just tighten the screw.

2. Precautions for maintenance during use to prolong the service life of the power head

(1) Appearance maintenance; after the work is completed every day, clean the iron filings of the power head push rod, drill chuck or multi-axis drilling head, tools, etc. to keep the appearance of the power head clean and tidy.

(2) Lubrication and maintenance; after the cleaning work is completed, remember to add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to the push rod and drill chuck.

(3) Maintenance of the motor; regularly clean the motor, check the position of the electrical device, and ensure that the electrical device is fixed, safe and tidy.

(4) Maintenance of parts; regularly check the tightness of screws and bolts, the tension of the belt, whether the protective cover is in good condition, and whether the hydraulic damper leaks oil.

3. Maintenance precautions to prolong the service life of the power head

When the power head fails, do not disassemble it indiscriminately. You must find the cause and then prescribe the right medicine. If you do not understand the reason, you should contact the seller and carry out maintenance under the guidance of the seller; if you cannot maintain it, you can return to the manufacturer or agency for maintenance. And replace the "over-age" parts and worn out parts of the power head in time. Under normal use, the power head should be monitored and maintained once a year.

4. Precautions for storage during non-use period to prolong the life of the power head

When the power head is not in use, be sure to clean it up, apply anti-rust oil, and place it in a dry place.
